About Tom Marks
Attorney Tom Marks
I was raised in upstate New York. After graduating from the University of Virginia, I worked for the New York State Assembly for 2 years as the Chief Budget Analyst for the Education Committee. I then attended Harvard Law School, graduating in 2003. I worked with law firms from 2003-2011 before deciding it was time to open my own practice. The most enjoyable part of my practice is the many relationships I have developed with individuals and families.
My practice focuses exclusively on estate planning for individuals, couples and families in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Estate planning encompasses many disciplines. These include the careful drafting of Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney and Health Care Documents; asset protection planning (including the protection of assets from nursing homes); and tax planning (including the use of various techniques to reduce or eliminate death taxes).
